Welcome to SILHOUETTE photography : The world of dark & light
Have you ever stood in front of a wall with a bulb at your exact back???
the thing you see on the wall is ‘silhouette’. a dark shape or outline on a brighter background.
let’s replace the bulb with sun and we got this..
you don’t need to be a photographer or you don’t need to own a DSLR for a good silhouette picture. you have to just focus properly and on a perfect lighting background.
the best thing about silhouette photography is you can try a number of things. there is no limit. every small thing can be turned into a marvelous piece of art. we all love flowers. they are soothing to watch. let’s have a look..
“just living is not enough. one must have sunshine, freedom and a pretty flower.”.
watching a sunset is probably one of the most pleasant thing do. someone had said it once
“when the sun has to set, no candle can replace it.”
you can try with buildings, abstract structures or any monuments against a bright sunlight background. but the only thing you need to do is proper focous and framing of your subject.
i have a weekness towards sunset and sunrise. for me both of these are a wonderful gift by nature. and when you are at top of a mountain, infront of you there is only this vast empty sky and long mountain ranges, never miss watching this
“Sunrise looks spectacular in the nature;
sunrise looks spectacular in the photos;
sunrise looks spectacular in our dreams;
sunrise looks spectacular in the paintings,
because it really is spectacular!”
