Into the blues !!! Where horizon meets the ocean

The rhythm of the water, the sunset over the horizon, and the freedom of the ocean reminds me of how simply beautiful life can be. when you move too fast you can miss the things that mean the most. my love for the ocean reminds me of my love for the nature, my love for life. so enjoy all that life has to offer.PSX_20160901_183735

“There is a place, far away
I wanna go there someday.
There is a place, far away
I wanna be there someday”

Every time I stand before a beautiful beach, its waves seem to whisper to me: If you choose the simple things and find joy in nature’s simple treasures, life and living need not be so hard.

“I know a place so wonderful and deadly
It pulls me into deep.
Oh my deep blue ocean world!!!
I’ll return to you after the surface pulls you from me”

I spent uncounted hours sitting at the bow looking at the water and the sky, studying each wave, different from the last, seeing how it caught the light, the air, the wind; watching patterns, the sweep of it all, and letting it take me.

Don’t grow up too quickly, lest you forget how much you love the beach.
Don’t grow up too quickly, lest you forget how much you love the beach.

I read and walked for miles at night along the beach, writing bad blank verse and searching endlessly for someone wonderful who would step out of the darkness and change my life. It never crossed my mind that that person could be me.

“Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away”

When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.

One day I stood in front of the sea, looking at it with a fragile strength. The waves seemed to approach me with a roar that silenced the surrounding and a grit that seemed to know it had to get me. It seemed the sea wanted me.. pull me in… drown me and remove my existence for I was fragile. The fragile didn’t have a place in this world and the sea seemed to know it. The waves came crashing down the shore and spread across the sandy terrain with gentle caresses. The waves touched me and I bent over to feel its cold water. It told me I needn’t worry cause I may be fragile but am not irrelevant. It told me it roared to silence my fear not put fear in me… it looked mighty and giant to hide the world from me, not intimidate me… It is gentle and cared for me and it said it wasn’t just time for the sea to pull me in.
Beautiful pictures Dinesh. I love sea and when I read through your post few words just came out and I had to write them. Cheers!
